CLINICAL SERVICES TERMS

Scope of Services

Performe Physiotherapy & Pilates Limited provides physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for both human and equine patients. Services may include assessment, diagnosis (where applicable within scope of practice), treatment, rehabilitation, exercise programs, and maintenance therapy.

For human patients, treatment is delivered following an individual assessment based on medical history, symptoms and clinical findings.

For equine patients, routine and maintenance musculoskeletal treatments do not require veterinary referral. However, in accordance with professional and legal requirements, a veterinary referral is required for treatment of injury, disease or any condition beyond routine maintenance care. Where appropriate, we reserve the right to request veterinary consent prior to commencing treatment. We may also recommend referral to other professionals, including veterinarians, farriers, saddle fitters or other relevant practitioners where clinically indicated.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice may result in the full session fee being charged.

We reserve the right to refuse future bookings in cases of repeated late cancellation or non-attendance.

Fees and Payment Terms

Fees for services are provided at the time of booking or displayed on the website and may be updated from time to time.

Payment is due on the day of service by cash or card unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where an invoice is issued, payment must be made within the stated timeframe.

In accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, any invoice not settled within 30 days of the due date may incur statutory interest at a rate of 8 percent per annum above the Bank of England base rate. Interest will accrue daily until full payment is received. We reserve the right to claim reasonable compensation and recover debt recovery costs as permitted under the Act.

If claiming through private insurance, you remain responsible for full payment of all fees and for confirming the extent of your policy coverage.

Outstanding balances may result in suspension of future appointments until payment is received.
